Thanks Peter. It's early days yet, and sellers are still not too sure what happens arranging a HIP and how much they should actually cost.

I can gaurantee that you could go to almost any town in the UK and do a poll of local estate agents. 1 or 2 will be signed up with national HIP providers and energy assesors. The rest will be stumbling along not really knowing what to do, but trying to not actually get involved in providing HIPs at all.

Considering that a seller deals so closely with the Estate Agent, it should be vital for them to be involved and possibly help the seller get a HIP arranged.

But we shall see...
